Spectacular weather combined with a power packed set of bulls and females greeted buyers at the annual gathering of GENETRUST genetics at Cavender’s Neches River Ranch November 15-16, 2019. The two-day format saw tremendous demand with the commercial females selling on Friday and bulls on Saturday. With several herd sires heading into registered programs, high selling bulls were as follows.

Lot 174, DMR Crossroads 795F7 from Draggin’ M Ranch, was the high selling bull of the day at $80,000 for ½ interest and full possession to Clover Ranch, Marietta, GA.

Lot 67, DMR Investment 535F40 from Draggin’ M Ranch, had a final bid price of $40,000 for ½ interest and full possession from Sewell Cattle Company, Eldorado, AR.

Lot 62, DMR Cash Flow 535F30 from Draggin’ M Ranch, sold to Triple T Brangus, Fayette, AL for $30,000 for ½ interest and full possession.

Lot 87, WAT/WW Notable 924F from Double W Ranch and Johnston Brangus commanded $25,000 for 2/3 interest and full possession from Elias Brangus, Caborca, Sonora, Mexico.

Lot 77, CB Wrangler 561F3 from Cavender Brangus, was selected by Jackson’s Double J Brangus, Gentry, AR and Ogden Angus Ranch, Lockwood, MO for $20,000 for 2/3 interest and full possession.

Lot 114, WAT Mandate 30F101 from Johnston Brangus, was the $20,000 choice of Marshall Farms, Grady, AL for ½ interest and full possession.

Lot 52, CB Oracle 468F15 from Cavender Brangus, commanded $18,000 for 2/3 interest and full possession from Schmidt Farms, Texarkana, TX and Lake Majestik Farms, Flat Rock, AL.

The volume bull buyers of the day were DJ Brask, Castroville, TX and Hillwood Land & Cattle, Fort Worth, TX.

The tremendous bull sale was proceeded 24 hours by an elite offering of Brangus replacement females on Friday, November 15th at noon where a regional and national presence was felt. Highlighting the entire event was a set of 9 GENETRUST sired pairs with calves at side by GENETRUST bulls from Cavender’s Neches River Ranch that drew a final bid of $2350 from Steve Stafford, Green Forrest, AR. Topping the bred section of the offering were a set of 3-year-old bred cows, sired by and safe to GENETRUST bulls, again from Cavender’s Neches River Ranch. These fancy females landed in the hands of Steve & Ami Dolive, Wills Point, TX at $2200. A long and flashy string of open heifers were led by a group of 5 from Cavender’s Neches River Ranch at $1500, selling to Davey Lockhart, Somerville, TX. The volume commercial female buyer was Oceam Bros, Brownsville, TX.

GENETRUST kicks off an exciting spring sale season February 17-18, 2020 with their Easy Access online video bull sale hosted on, where 60 Brangus and Ultrablack bulls will be offered. On March 24th, 2020 the GENETRUST crew will be in Eureka, KS at Suhn Cattle Company with a tremendous offering of 160 breed leading Brangus and Ultrablack bulls. April 25th, 2020 GENETRUST will be in Jacksonville, TX at Cavender’s with 150 Registered Brangus and Ultrablack females and 500 commercial Brangus females.
